Founded in North Brisbane QLD, we provided some of our first services to EXPO88, which successfully launched our company and city to where it is today. Since then, EDS has proudly been involved in various annual Queensland exhibitions, trade shows, events and art shows, such as the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka), the Rotary Art Spectacular and many more annual events across the nation.
We work directly with all of our clients including exhibitors and event organisers to provide successful events. Our senior management have a hands-on approach and oversee all orders from our Brisbane warehouse. TIM WORTHINGTON - MANAGING DIRECTOR
From the age of 15, I have been working in the exhibition industry. Following in the footsteps of my father (Terry) who established Exhibition & Display Services (EDS) around 1988. I grew up installing expo's ,and you would often see me at the bottom or top of a 5 metre high extension ladder or running around for my father at the RNA Showgrounds for Brisbane’s annual events. It was clear to me that I too held a passion for the industry. Throughout the early 2000’s I was leading the EDS builds around South east - West and North QLD including annual home shows, art expo's and mining expo's. In 2006, I went for a working holiday to London and I become an Installation Manager at Skyline Whitespace, a custom expo stand design company. During my brief time there I was tasked with the management of the installation's of some of their biggest clients in and around Europe including GE money, Conrad hotels and the Deputy Prime Minister's Office. I returned to Australia with an abundance of ideas and passion to grow EDS further to be inline with what I had seen abroad. I actioned my plans and brought the company up to speed with things that we take for granted now like email, websites and catalogues. In 2012 my father retired and I soon moved location and started focusing on corporate art and business exhibitions, custom expo stand designs and quality furniture hire services. I am still onsite at most jobs and enjoy nothing more than seeing a vision come to reality. I am passionate about my business and the industry, and look forward to seeing how we continue to evolve and innovate.
